Our Halal Commitment
Every single cut of meat served at Gyro 9 Shawarma & Grill is 100% Halal certified. This applies to every chicken, lamb, and beef item across our entire menu, every day we are open. We source from Halal-certified suppliers and maintain strict kitchen standards — no cross-contamination, no exceptions.
What Does Halal Mean?
Halal means "permissible" under Islamic law. For meat, this requires:
Zabiha Slaughter
The animal is slaughtered by a trained Muslim with the name of Allah pronounced at the time of slaughter.
Animal Welfare
The animal must be alive and healthy at slaughter. Inhumane methods are not permitted.
No Cross-Contamination
Halal meat is handled, stored and prepared separately from non-Halal products throughout our kitchen.
No Forbidden Ingredients
No pork, no alcohol-based ingredients, no haram additives — the full Islamic dietary standard.
Certified Suppliers
We source exclusively from suppliers with recognized Halal certification and traceable chain of custody.
Transparent Kitchen
